Another year, and another summer is upon us, and it’s time to head back to the beach. Before you do, make sure you’re up on all the fine fashionwear that’s out there. A lot of awesomeness previewed at Miami Beach Week, and we loved every ounce of it. In looking at styles, it seems fitting to break them down by designers/brands, first. So here are some of the top ones to copy and take for your own:

Belusso designer Kirsten Ehrig-Sarkisian was previously a lawyer, and often says, “I insist on the best from all of my accessories, why wouldn’t I expect the same from my swim and resort wear?” In making sure this passion infiltrates every aspect of her swimwear and beach designs, only the best imported silks, cottons and cotton voiles are used to make the line a reality. With a serious slant toward being more fashion than beachy, the look here is an effortless chic. Among her wonderful 2016 offerings you’ll find an awesome and daringly deep V one-piece that is certainly a show-stealer, and truly celebrates the female form and her independence at the same time.

A successful swimwear designer and model herself, Tori Praver has mastered the swimsuit goals of perfected comfort and confidence. Her absolutely gorgeous ruffled tops are so very feminine, alluring and functional. So are her separates, one-pieces and cover-ups. Toni, a Maui native, shows her line’s versatility, an ideal fit for every female form. Quite a few pieces of her new line give a bit of a chic, hippie vibe. A must-see, must-have, this summer, for that stroll on the ocean’s edge, any time of day.

Accessorize Right this Summer at the Beach and Poolside

  • Get Your Temporary Summer Shine On: Leg and arm flash metallic tattoos are the rage this year, and put the crowning touch on your beach look. Applied on the diag, horiz or vert, they’re big, bold and full of statement. Spread out that beach look with one of these that pairs with your entire beach ensemble and you’ll kill on that pier to pier walk.
  • Body Jewelry: Beach balls, dolphins, daisies and sea horses are all great belly button jewelry options for fun on the sand. Body jewelry options, at least to an extent, depend on the number of piercings you have, although there are a lot of “faux” pierced options, too. Ring the hand-pieces, armbands, anklets, leg and body chains are all the scene this summer, and the body chains offer an exotic lure, with a huge variety of styles. Some have stones, some are all-chain. All are inspiring. Elastic harnesses, lace-up harnesses and leather harnesses all have very different looks, with the leather definitely ready to call out the beast.
